Export labels

If the download does not start, copy the text below into a plain text file named ct-brain-labels.json. You can also open this atlas in a separate browser tab and download there.

Import labels

Choose a label file, load the generated draft labels, or paste exported JSON below.

Adding keeps your existing labels, including any with matching IDs. Replacing removes the current set; export a backup first.

Explore the CT head atlas

Best used on a computer. A larger screen makes it easier to explore the CT and read the labels. You can also use the atlas on your phone.

  1. Choose a window. Use Brain, Subdural or Bone to explore the different structures.
  2. Scroll through slices. Use your mouse wheel, arrow keys or the slider below the CT. On a phone, swipe up or down over the image.
  3. Choose your anatomy. Open Anatomy categories and tick any combination. Use search to find a structure.
  4. Reveal a label. Click or tap a coloured dot. Dots keep the image clear when there isn’t room for every name.
  5. Adjust the view. Use + / − to zoom, drag with Window to adjust the image window, or press Reset to return to the starting view.

AI-generated beta teaching atlas. Built with AI assistance, with AI-generated annotations and ongoing manual corrections. Annotations have not all been individually verified. Some positions are interpolated between slices. For educational use, not clinical decision-making. Please report errors using Feedback.
